CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Less than 24 hours after senior Kristen Busch (Waterloo, Ill./Freeburg) edged out twin sister Caitlin Busch (Waterloo, Ill./Freeburg) for the league title in the 5,000 meters, Caitlin claimed the 3,000 meter title over her sister to highlight the second day of competition for the Bradley men’s and women’s track & field teams at the 2016 Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championship.
The pair claimed the two spots in Saturday night’s 5,000 meter finals separated by thousandths of a second only to sweep the top spots in Sunday afternoon’s 3,000 meter finals.
