COLUMBIA, Mo.- Zach Burry dominated for the Illinois State men's golf team in the first two rounds of Missouri's Tiger Invitational. The junior is currently in second place on the individual leaderboard with a two-round total of 4-under-par 140. He shot a 4-under-par 68 (35-33) in the first round, which is just one stroke shy of his career-low of 67. His strong play continued into the second round as he carded an even-par 72 (35-37). His performance also included five birdies in the first round and three more in the second round.
The Redbirds are currently in a tie for 11th place with a two-round total of 30-over-par 606 after shooting a 14-over-par 302 in the first round, followed by a 16-over-par 304 in the second round.
