MADISON, Ill. -- Senior Ethan Brue claimed medalist honors for the second time in as many tournaments in 2017-18, winning top honors by two strokes at the Derek Dolenc Invitational and helping the Bradley men's golf team to a third-place finish in the 17-team field.

Brue now owns a school record five career individual medalist titles during his brief time on The Hilltop after firing an eight-under 205 to finish atop the individual leaderboard at the Derek Dolenc Invitational, which wrapped up play at the par-71 Gateway National Golf Links Tuesday afternoon.

The first player in school history to card all three rounds of a tournament in the 60's, Brue's 205 was two shots better than second-place finisher Joel Durnford (207) of Iowa Western and matched the lowest 54-hole score in school history originally set by Lyle Burns at the Austin Peay Invitational during the fall of the 2015-16 season.
