COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The two-time Missouri Valley Conference Champion, Jordyn Bruce, advanced to the quarterfinal in the 400-meter hurdles on day two of the NCAA West Preliminary Round at E.B. Cushing Stadium.
Bruce, who clocked in at 59.28 seconds, had one of the next six fastest times in the 400-meter hurdles after just missing an auto qualifying spot and taking fourth in her heat. She currently has the 18th-fastest time from the first round and will need to finish in the top-12 in the quarterfinal on Saturday to advance to the NCAA Track & Field Outdoor Championships.
