With star tailback James Robinson sidelined with an injury after a 256-yard performance, Brown rushed for fourth-quarter touchdowns of 5 and 16 yards to lift the Redbirds to a 35-28 Missouri Valley Football Conference victory over Youngstown State.
“It’s fun to win the final game and have a winning season,” Spack said. “We were able to send our seniors out the right way and launch our team into the offseason. We want to make sure a year from Sunday we’re getting invited (to the FCS playoffs) and in that celebration up here.”
