PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley scored the first nine points of the game and led from wire-to-wire, topping Miami (Ohio) 79-68 Saturday afternoon at Renaissance Coliseum as the Braves earned their third straight victory to improve to 4-1 on the year.
Junior Gabi Haack, who passed BU head coach Andrea Gorski along with former teammate Anneke Schlueter on Bradley's career three-point list, scored a team-high 24 points to pace the Braves. Fellow junior Nyjah White and sophomore Lasha Petree each added 14 points, while senior Chelsea Brackmann finished a point short of her first double-double of the year with nine points to go with a season-high 18 rebounds.
