SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Bradley Softball bounced back from a loss in the series opener at Missouri State with a 9-1 victory over the second-place Bears as the teams traded run-rule victories Saturday afternoon at Killian Stadium to open a three-game Missouri Valley Conference series.
Sophomore Camryn Schaller held Missouri State (23-16 overall, 16-5 MVC) to just one hit in the five-inning complete game effort to earn the victory in game two. The Braves used a seven-run fifth inning to blow open what was a one-run game at that point to take the second game of the twinbill 9-1.
