LAS CRUCES, N.M. – After clubbing four home runs earlier in the day in a win against Montana, Bradley Softball returned to the field late Friday night to hit two more homers in a 4-3 win at New Mexico State to wrap up the first day of the Troy Cox Classic.
Bradley (3-4 overall) earned its first road win of the season with the 4-3 victory as junior Allison Apke hit a solo homer in the first and senior Katie Habryle slugged a two-run dinger in the top of the sixth in the first loss of the year for tournament-host New Mexico State.
