Bloomington, Ind. – On the first day of the Gladstein Invitational at Indiana University, seven Braves added their names to the Bradley record books and placed among the top-10 times in school history.
Sophomore McKenzie Altmayer led the list of strong performances by making her debut in the 3,000m run and clocking the fifth-best time in Bradley history. Altmayer ran the distance in 9:52.79 to finish sixth in the fast section of the race.
Two other BU women recorded top-10 marks. Senior Niamh Markham shaved more than 14 seconds off her previous PR in the mile and ran the seventh-fastest time in school history at 4:55.
