LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Senior Kelly Kapp had multiple hits in her third consecutive game, going 2-for-3 Saturday night against 14th-ranked Tennessee; but the Volunteers topped the Braves 8-0 in five innings Saturday at the Troy Cox Classic.
Kapp had two of Bradley's three hits in the contest as Tennessee snapped a three-game win streak for the Braves with the win in the first of two scheduled meetings between the teams in 2017.
Tennessee (7-0 overall) threatened in the first inning, leaving two runners in scoring position and left another runner on base in the second.
