EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIU Edwardsville starter Haley Chambers-Brook limited Bradley to three hits and the Cougars slugged five doubles and a home run as SIUE topped the Braves 10-0 Tuesday afternoon in the final non-conference game of the year.
Chambers-Brook improved to 16-4 on the season with the complete game victory, scattering three hits over five innings, while striking out three and walking none.
SIUE (28-7 overall) jumped out to an early lead with a three-run first. Chambers-Bock helped her own cause with a RBI double in the bottom of the first after a hit batter to open the contest and came around to score on a Zoe Schafer double.
