Braves Fall At Indiana State 59-37

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Bradley hit its first two baskets of the third quarter to take a 22-19 lead at Indiana State, but the Braves had a nine-minute stretch without a field goal midway through second half as the Sycamores pulled away for a 59-37 victory Sunday afternoon at the Hulman Center.

Indiana native Danielle Brewer (Coatesville, Ind.) got Bradley (5-13 overall, 1-6 MVC) off to a good start, collecting back-to-back hoops during a 10-3 run by the Braves to open the contest. Indiana State (8-10 overall, 4-3 MVC) answered with 11 consecutive points to take a 14-10 lead at the end of the first period.
