PEORIA, IL – Senior defender Walid Kherat scored the game's only goal in the 67th minute and the Bradley soccer team kept a clean sheet for the second-straight game as the Braves earned a 1-0 victory against Valparaiso at Shea Stadium on Sunday. With the win, BU improved to 5-5-4 on the season and 4-3-2 in Missouri Valley Conference action, while the Crusaders drop to 3-10-1 overall and 2-5-0 against league foes.
After a number of near misses in the game's first hour, Kherat finally broke through for the Braves with his second goal of the season.
