SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Senior Gabi Haack scored a game-high 24 points on 7-of-11 shooting and became the sixth player in program history to reach 1,500 career points, but #20/25 Missouri State used a big third quarter to break open a tie game as Bradley dropped the series finale to the Bears 75-62 Saturday afternoon at JQH Arena.
Bradley (12-10 overall, 8-7 MVC) played the league leading Lady Bears (15-2 overall, 11-0 MVC) even through the first 20 minutes with the teams trading baskets most of the first two quarters. The first half featured nine ties and 16 lead changes with the teams knotted at 37-37 at the half.
