PEORIA, Ill. -- Sophomore Mahri Petree scored a game-high 19 points and added nine rebounds in the first home start of her career, helping Bradley Women's Basketball to a convincing 86-52 victory over Indiana State Friday at Renaissance Coliseum.
Bradley (13-11 overall, 9-8 MVC) took over sole possession of fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference standings with the victory, extending its win streak in the series with Indiana State (5-13 overall, 2-11 MVC) to five games. The Braves also assured themselves one of the top six spots in next week's MVC Tournament with BU still able to earn as high as the #4 seed heading into the final day of the regular season.
