CHARLESTON, S.C. – Senior Allison Apke hit her first home run of the season to highlight a nine-run second inning and freshman Morgan Radford threw a complete-game, two-hit shutout to earn her first career win as Bradley Softball blanked North Carolina A&T 11-0 Friday morning to open play at the Charleston Classic.
Bradley (6-5 overall) took advantage of four North Carolina A&T (1-7 overall) errors, scoring 11 runs on just seven hits. Radford struck out a pair and didn't surrender a walk in the two-hit shutout to earn her first collegiate victory.
