It’s been a week of togetherness for the Bradley basketball team on its week-long trip to London and Amsterdam.
Prior to the Braves’ 73-66 Tuesday win over the Surrey Scorchers, the team took a bike tour of London. The next day the 13 Braves took to the water, seeing the city from the River Thames on a speed boat.
“The main focus of the trip is team bonding,” said BU guard Nate Kennell prior to the team’s departure. “Getting to know each other even better, getting some games in and having some fun.”
It was great fun particularly for London-born Brave Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye, who had 10 points, five rebounds and five assists and keyed a second-half surge that kept the rallying Scorchers at bay.
