PEORIA – Darrell Brown finally landed a first-team recognition on Monday.
The Bradley senior guard, who led the Braves to their second successive Missouri Valley Conference tournament title two weeks ago, earned a spot on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) all-District 16 first team.
District 16 is made up solely of MVC players. Brown was joined on the first team by two UNI standouts – guard AJ Green and center Austin Phyfe – along with Loyola’s Cameron Krutwig and Valparaiso’s Javon Freeman-Liberty.
The second team was comprised of Drake’s Liam Robbins and Roman Penn, Indiana State’s Tyreke Key and Jordan Barnes and Southern Illinois’ Marcus Domask.
