ST. LOUIS — When it comes to familiarity on the men's basketball court, it's hard to beat the Bradley-Drake rivalry.
The two private schools have played each other 147 times since 1942 with BU holding a hefty 85-62 advantage, a close second in total contests to the 151 times Wichita State and Drake have met.
At the Missouri Valley Conference tournament, they have met 11 times (BU leads 6-5), the most of any two opponents in the league. This is the sixth time in the last seven years the teams have matched up in the first round of the play-in round with Drake holding a 4-2 edge.
