PEORIA — Short-handed Bradley used a 12-3 run after halftime to take control and downed Illinois State, 75-63, on Wednesday night in a Missouri Valley Conference basketball game at Carver Arena.
ISU, which took its first halftime lead since Dec. 18, lost its sixth straight league game for the first time in seven years and fell to 6-13 overall and 1-6 in the Valley.
Freshman DJ Horne and junior Keith Fisher III paced ISU with 17 points each. Zach Copeland had 13.
Senior Nate Kennell and freshman Ville Tahvanainen led Bradley (14-6, 5-2) with 18 points each.
