Three Bradley players earned Missouri Valley Conference individual honors Tuesday in a vote released by the league office.
BU junior guard Darrell Brown earned second-team all-MVC, sophomore forward Elijah Childs was named third-team all-MVC and junior guard Nate Kennell shared the Sixth Man award with Northern Iowa’s Spencer Haldeman.
Brown, who averaged 15.0 points and 3.1 assists and shot 46.2 percent from 3-point range in the regular season for the 17-14 Braves, was a third-team selection last season.
The 5-foot-10 native of Memphis has totaled 1,313 career points, 21st on the all-time BU scoring list. He is just the third Brave to lead his team in scoring as a freshman, sophomore and junior.
