CARBONDALE — Southern Illinois’ improbable bubble finally burst Wednesday in a 55-38 loss at Valparaiso. But that doesn’t mean Bradley coach Brian Wardle is any less concerned about the Salukis, who host the Braves in a 1 p.m. Saturday tipoff.
“It’ll be a hostile environment, and they’ve played very well there,” Wardle said of the newly named Banterra Center. “They’ve had some close games go their way and they’ve made big shots late in close games. That’s the name of the game, playing well that last four minutes. Give them credit.
