PEORIA, IL – The Bradley soccer team played to its first draw of the season after 0-0 deadlock against Western Illinois on Monday afternoon. The Braves are now 2-9-1 on the year, while the Leathernecks move to 1-11-1.
Bradley's Bryce Logan anchored the defense on the day, recording four saves to earn his second clean sheet of the season and the third of his tenure with the Red & White.
The Braves had the early momentum in the contest and had either team's best opportunity in the game's seventh minute. Reed Rogers had a great look on goal only for the Western Illinois netminder to make a lunging save – one of his five stops on the day – to keep the Leathernecks tied.
