SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Bradley converted its second most 3-pointers in school history with 17 on Wednesday night at JQH Arena and captured a 91-78 Missouri Valley Conference victory over Missouri State.
It was the most ever by a BU team in an MVC game.
Nate Kennell equaled a career-high 25 points, hitting seven of 10 3-pointers as the Braves connected on 17 of 30 shots from long range. The only higher total came in 2006, when BU hit 20 3-pointers against Florida A&M.
It didn’t take long for the 16-point lead Bradley forged late in the first half to dissolve as the second half began.
