PEORIA — After three brutally physical games in three days at the Missouri Valley Conference tournament, Bradley earned a day off Monday. And Tuesday as well.
But it’ll be back to work Wednesday as the Braves begin preparations for their school’s first NCAA men’s basketball tournament appearance in 13 years and just the third in the past three decades.
Bradley defeated Missouri State, Loyola and Northern Iowa by a total of eight points in St. Louis, overcoming second-half deficits in all three.
The Braves saved their best comeback for the title game when they rallied from an 18-point deficit to UNI with 17 minutes left to take their first lead of the game with 3:44 left.
