PEORIA — Armon Brummett was treated like royalty on his visit to Bradley and fell in love with the basketball program and academic environment at the university.
The soft-spoken senior from Decatur MacArthur visited Bradley on Tuesday, was offered a scholarship, and then committed to play for the Braves.
“They offered me and about 30 minutes after they offered me I took it because I knew what I wanted to do all the time,” Brummett said Saturday at the Winter Throwdown at Peoria High.
“The relationships between the players and the coaches and how they’re together,” said Brummett of the basketball culture.
