EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- The road hasn’t been a kind place this season for Bradley, which lost its first four away contests.
That changed in a huge way Wednesday night as the Braves trounced Evansville 72-52 before 4,489 at the Ford Center. It equaled Bradley’s largest Missouri Valley Conference road victory since whipping the Purple Aces 83-63 in 2010.
Not only did the Braves (11-5, 2-1) win their first game on the road this season, but they did so in convincing fashion for virtually the entire game. They led 9-0 in the first four minutes, built the advantage to 34-19 at halftime and led by 25, 52-27, with 12:53 left.
