Javon Pickett, the 6-foot-4 all-state guard from Belleville East who de-committed from Illinois earlier this month, has received a scholarship offer from Bradley, Pickett’s AAU coach, Andre McMurray, has confirmed.
No BU campus visit has yet been set up for Pickett, but “should be soon,” McMurray said.
Pickett requested a release from the National Letter of Intent he signed with the Illini last fall after the school fired coach John Groce and hired Brad Underwood. Since then, he’s also received offers from Saint Louis and Western Kentucky.
Bradley appeared to be finished recruiting for next season when 6-4 guard Luqman Lundy of Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa signed with the Braves two weeks ago, securing the team’s 13th and last scholarship.
