CARBONDALE -- Bradley saw a 21-point lead dissolve Saturday, but held on to beat Southern Illinois 69-67 in a Missouri Valley Conference game at the Banterra Center.
BU (18-9, 9-5) held a 43-22 edge late in the first half and saw the Salukis (15-12, 9-5) surge back to take a 57-56 lead with 7:08 left. But a strong defensive finish allowed the Braves to win their third in a row.
It was the third win on the Valley road this season for the Braves. Elijah Childs led BU with 14 points and Nate Kennell added 13.
