The Bradley men's basketball team received a verbal commitment from 6-foot-4 point guard Luqman Lundy of Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa on Monday night, the Journal Star has learned.
Lundy visited BU this past weekend. He also had offers from Loyola-Chicago, Florida International and Tennessee-Martin.
Lundy averaged 13.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists for the Mavericks, shooting 48 percent from the field, 43 percent from 3-point range and 73 percent from the free-throw line.
The Newark, N.J., native will make it official for Bradley when he signs a National Letter of Intent during the spring signing period that begins April 12.
