Bradley got an early start on its 2017 recruiting class Tuesday with the verbal commitment of 6-foot-7 shooting guard Ryan Stipanovich of DeSmet Jesuit High School in St. Louis.
Stipanovich, the nephew of former Missouri and NBA standout Steve Stipanovich, chose BU over offers from Evansville, North Dakota, Oral Roberts, Eastern Illinois, Wyoming, SIU-Edwardsville, IUPUI and Vermont as well as strong interest from other Missouri Valley Conference schools such as Indiana State, Missouri State and Southern Illinois.
“Ryan is a great kid, a great person,” said DeSmet coach Blake Ahearn. “That means more than how good of a player you are.
