PEORIA — Bradley men’s basketball coach Brian Wardle has received a contract extension through the 2022-23 season, the university announced Tuesday.
The extension for Wardle, who was overhauled the program from a 5-27 mark his first year of 2015-16, in which the team featured 10 true freshmen, to a 20-13 mark this season and a berth in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament semifinals, is believed to be for three years beyond his original contract.
“Brian is a tireless worker and has done a tremendous job of creating a culture of success within the men’s basketball program,” said athletics director Chris Reynolds in a statement.
