PEORIA — It wasn’t exactly a triumphant return to Carver Arena on Tuesday night for Antoine Pittman.
Pittman, who played four years in the BU program before moving on to Division II Maryville last spring as a grad transfer, was just 2-for-9 from the field for five points and committed four turnovers as his new team suffered a 91-58 defeat to Bradley.
The Braves led by 41 with 6:09 left before soon unloading the bench for the final minutes before a crowd of 4,643.
But the Rockford native — now sporting a white headband and braided dreadlocks — was all smiles afterward on the court sharing conversations with his former teammates as he held his 1-year-old son, Malakai.
