VALPARAISO, Ind. – Bradley’s hopes of moving into a tie for second place in the Missouri Valley Conference dissolved Saturday in a barrage of Valparaiso 3-pointers, 90-78 at The Arc.
The Crusaders (15-14, 8-8) sank 18 3-pointers, their most this season and second most in school history, in overcoming a 13-point first-half deficit. They needed just 28 attempts to do so, an uncanny shooting percentage of 64.3.
BU (19-10, 10-6) led for the first 27½ minutes, including a 29-16 bulge at 7:41 of the first half, before the hosts embarked on a 23-6 spurt to take control.
