Bradley basketball coach Brian Wardle is teaching his freshman-laden team to have a strong perspective in life, in addition to the ropes of Division I hoops.
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – As poorly as Bradley played Wednesday in its 65-44 home loss to Southern Illinois, the Braves likely were dreading what awaited them in practice the next day.
What they got was totally unexpected.
They spent the day lending a hand to the cleaning crew at the Civic Center doing its usual postgame scrub-down of Carver Arena.
