TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — The Missouri Valley Conference men’s basketball season is at its halfway point. Bradley, at 5-4, owns a winning record at this point for the first time in eight years.
BU coach Brian Wardle, of course, largely credits his team’s defense, which has held MVC opponents to just 62.2 points, second in the league and eighth in the nation.
That defense will be severely tested in the first game of the second half at 1 p .m. Sunday at Indiana State. The Sycamores top the Valley in league-game scoring at 73.4 points, 4.8 points ahead of second-place Illinois State.
