PEORIA — College basketball’s offseason is always a long one. Even though Bradley is opening its regular season earlier than ever before, the summer practices and trip to Europe have made this preseason longer than ever.
“Playing those games in Europe got the competitive juices flowing and made us want to continue playing against new people rather than against each other day in and day out,” said senior guard Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye. “The last few months patience and attention to detail have been the hardest things. But it’s helped us a lot. Now it seems a little surreal that the season is here.
