PEORIA — Traveling by plane, train, bike, boat and foot, the Bradley men’s basketball team covered a lot of ground and also went 2-0 during its week-long trip to London and Amsterdam.
“We packed a lot into the five days we were there,” said BU coach Brian Wardle. “I don’t think we ever adjusted to the time switch. But it was a very enjoyable experience the guys will remember hopefully the rest of their lives. A great opportunity.”
The Braves flew first to England, checking out such sites as the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Parliament and Westminster Abbey as well as taking a ride on the giant Ferris wheel, the Eye of London and a speedboat excursion down the River Thames.
