PEORIA – Bradley will allow its men’s and women’s basketball players to return to campus for voluntary workouts beginning June 8, the school announced Thursday.
After receiving the recommendations of several health organizations, the school decided to join numerous other college athletic departments in welcoming back student-athletes to their facilities for individual workouts in weight rooms and gyms.
Last week, the NCAA approved the measure for such voluntary returns to campuses of all student-athletes under strict guidelines. At Bradley, only basketball players will be allowed to return.
Of the Braves’ 13 men’s basketball players, it is believed that sophomore Ville Tahvanainen is the only team member not expected to participate in the early summer months.
