Normal, Ill. – The Bradley baseball team hammered four home runs in an 8-2 victory over Illinois State on Sunday, winning the series over its I-74 rival. The Braves improve to 13-20 overall on the season and 5-4 in Missouri Valley Conference action – just one game off the conference lead through three weekends – while the Redbirds drop to 15-19 and 3-6 in league play.
Senior Keaton Rice, sophomores Carson Husmann and Ryan Vogel and redshirt freshman Peter Hansen all hit home runs in the winning effort.
