PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Braves Baseball team was defeated by Eastern Illinois, 14-9.
The Braves struck first with a home run from Senior Logan Delgado in the top of the second. They entered the top of the third trailing by one.
Sophomore Beau Durbin singled to score one, tying the game at two. Later on that inning, Junior Tyrese Johnson and Freshman Isaac Sobieszczyk had back-to-back walks, giving the Braves a 4-2 lead.
As the Braves entered the fourth inning, they were down 9-4. Johnson and Sobieszczyk struck again, hitting back-to-back singles to cut the Panthers lead to two.
