ST. LOUIS – Bradley senior LF Dan Bolt (Morton, IL/Morton H.S.) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week, according to an announcement from the league office Monday afternoon.
Bolt led a Bradley offensive that averaged 6.2 runs per game last week by hitting .421 (8-for-19) with three home runs and seven RBIs during the four games of the SAF Dirt Classic in Tennessee. Bolt heated up Friday when he went 3-for-5 with a 3-run home run at Lipscomb, then followed by going 4-for-6 with two home runs and three RBIs in Saturday's 11-4 win at Austin Peay.
