AUGUSTA, Ga. – Illinois State senior punter JT Bohlken is among 20 honored on the preseason watch list for the 2021 FCS Punter of the Year Award, which honors the nation's top collegiate punter in the FCS.
The 20 candidates on the list incorporate a broad spectrum of Football Championship Series (FCS) punters. The 2021 watch list was compiled based on the 2020 FCS Punter of the Year watchlist, the 2020 All-Conference teams, the 2020 All-American Teams and the 2021 pre-season All-Conference Teams.
Bohlken has served as the team's primary punter for the past three seasons and is one of two Missouri Valley Football Conference punters on the watch list, joining South Dakota's Brady Schutt.
