PEORIA — When you have played your worst first half at home this season, as Bradley did on a snowy Saturday night against Southern Illinois, it was time for some adjustments.
And the Braves wasted no time putting those changes into play, using a nine-point run to open the second half en route to a 67-48 Missouri Valley Conference victory before 5,684 at Carver Arena.
It marked the 14th consecutive home win for Bradley (12-5, 3-1), which was led by Darrell Brown's 21 points. BU is in a three-way tie for first place in the Valley with UNI and Loyola.
