HUNTSVILLE, TX - On a cold, wet day at Don Sanders Stadium, host Sam Houston State banged out 22 runs on 27 hits to take both games of a doubleheader Saturday and complete a 3-game series sweep against visiting Bradley (3-6).
The Bearkats (8-4) rolled to a 14-7 win in Saturday's opener and then finished off the series with an 8-2 victory in the nightcap. Blake Chisolm was the day's hitting star, going 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI's in Saturday's first game, then 2-for-2 with a double, a triple in the second game.
