A freshman lefthander, Gosswein (1-0) relieved starter Sam Lund to start the fourth inning and allowed the Owls two runs in his first collegiate inning of relief.

KENNESAW, Ga. - Luke Mangieri's first home run of the year gave Bradley the lead in the seventh inning and made a winner of freshman Brooks Gosswein in his college debut as the visiting Braves (2-1) completed the Atlanta Challenge with a 6-4 victory at Kennesaw State (1-3) Sunday at Stillwell Stadium.
