PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Braves Baseball team was defeated by the Murray State Racers, 9-3.
The bats were dry until the bottom of the fifth inning, as Senior Ryan Vogel hit an RBI single, moving him alone into sixth place on the Bradley career hit list.
The Racers struck back, scoring six runs in the sixth inning, adding at least one run to their lead in the last three frames.
The Braves outhit the Racers, 12-11. Every Bradley hitter recorded at least one hit, with Sophomore Beau Durbin, Junior Michael Mylott and Junior Cole Luckey earning two hits.
