PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Braves Baseball team was defeated by the Belmont Bruins after 10 innings, 6-5.
The offense of the Braves was silent the first seven innings, with the only offense from the Bruins in that span came from two home runs in the fourth inning and a RBI single in the seventh.
Trailing 4-0 entering the top of the eighth, the Bradley offense came alive. Sophomore Beau Durbin hit a two run home run to right field, cutting the lead in half. Later on that inning, Junior hit a three run blast to left, putting the Braves up by one, their first lead of the afternoon.
