ST. LOUIS – After running the first sub-four-minute mile time in the Missouri Valley Conference this season, senior Jack Anstey earned his third MVC weekly honor this year and ninth overall in his career, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
While Anstey is the only student-athlete in the Valley to run sub-four, his time at the Last Chance College Elite Meet marks the second time in his career that he has clocked in below four minutes. Anstey posted the top collegiate time and placed second overall at the Last Chance College Elite Meet in Seattle over the weekend, finishing with a time of 3:59.
