The Bradley track and field teams continued its 2021 campaign at the Sycamore Team Challenge on Saturday with the Braves posting a second school record in as many weeks during the campaign.
On Saturday, rookie Wilma Nielsen followed up her successful collegiate debut that saw her collect Missouri Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week honors with her first school record. Nielsen clocked a time of 2:09.03 to finish first in the 800m run, topping the previous standard of 2:09.61, set by Mary Goldkamp in 2011.Her time is currently the best mark in the Valley and the 14th-best time in the country.
